A whole new Avengers team assembles in an Avengers: The Kang Dynasty fan trailer. Phases 4 and 5 have been focusing on setting up the next generation of the Avengers for The Multiverse Saga. As old members have left the franchise, new ones are rising through the latest films and Disney+ shows. They still have a long way to go until The Multiverse Saga culminates with the next Avengers movies.
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will be one of the crucial Phase 6 movies when it arrives in 2025. Screen Culture recently debuted an Avengers: The Kang Dynasty fan trailer as new and old heroes unite.
The Avengers: The Kang Dynasty fan trailer depicts new and old allies taking on Jonathan Majors’ titular villain. The footage also dives into non-MCU Marvel characters, including other Spider-Men.
How The MCU Has Set Up Avengers: The Kang Dynasty So Far
While Phase 5 recently kicked off, the MCU did a lot of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty groundwork in Phase 4. Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness laid a lot of the multiverse foundation. On the television side of things, Loki and What If…? also dived into the concept of Variants. Both shows got picked up for another season, which will play into Phase 5.
The biggest installment, however, was Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. The film served as a bigger introduction for Majors’ Kang, as one of the Variants took on Scott Lang. However, the MCU trilogy finale also set up multiple other Kang Variants at the end. It remains to be seen which Phase 5 movie will be next to help set up Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
Time will tell when Marvel Studios will reveal more information about the next Avengers movies. It wouldn’t be shocking if more Avengers: The Kang Dynasty details emerge at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. With several films and shows coming up, it’ll be intriguing to see what becomes of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
