Billy Porter’s Benchellal Gown at the Cinderella Premiere

Leave it to IRL fairy godparent Billy Porter to look bibbidi bobbidi beautiful at the Cinderella remake red purple carpet premiere. Sprinkling a little bit of magic beyond the screen, Billy attended the enchanting event in a two-toned Benchellal Collection No. 9 coat gown with a collared black bodice and white skirt. The skirt even featured pockets just spacious enough to carry a magic wand or a spare glass slipper.

Sharing his look on Instagram, Billy, who will play Cinderella’s genderless fairy godparent Fab G in the 2021 remake, wrote, “#MagicHasNoGender.” He paired the look with a glittery gold manicure, a L’Afshar lucite clutch, thigh-high lace-up Harry Halim Paris white boots with six-inch heels, and H. Crowne jewelry — including a statement ring on all 10 fingers. Needless to say, we wish we had our own fairy godparent to conjure up an outfit half as magical as this. See Billy’s full premiere gown from all angles here.
