Welcome to Always On Time, where we’ll highlight the very best, most interesting, and coolest new watches in the world.

Typically, this column focuses on selecting just a single new watch per week, but thanks to last week’s Geneva Watch Days, a relatively new trade show, that’s just not possible. There’s a whole new rotation’s worth of watches out in the world. Here are our favorites from the past several days.

Paging Tracy Chapman

If you like fast cars, you’ll love this trio of new pieces from Breitling. The brand is famous for collaborating with car companies, and its watches made with Bentley are favorites. Now, the company has cooked up a collection inspired by three iconic cars: the Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang, and Shelly Cobra. Each dial gets a different color—sports-car red for the Corvette, blue for the Cobra, and green for the Mustang—and each carmaker’s respective logo. The logos are a very nice little touch: the green-dialed Breitling is already something special before you even notice the galloping mustang right under 12 o’clock.

Oris Aquis Date Upcycle01 733 7770 4150-Set and 01 733 7766 4150-Set

Recycling has never looked so pretty

Oris released a new version of its Aquis Date with glitchy colorful dials. The Aquis is already a favorite in Oris’s catalog, and the brand is using its appeal to push customers towards a new environmentally-friendly version of the piece. The colorful dials are made out of recycled ocean plastic, and each one is unique because of the process to make them. Oris specifically notes they won’t limit production so customers will always have a more eco-friendly watch to choose from. But what’s really important here is how cool those dials look. The best way to sell customers on something good for the environment is by making an irresistible watch.
