To solve the Dino Digits Puzzle in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores, players must track down five Pangea Figurines. These collectible dinosaur figurines hold clues that can help Aloy answer the questions to the Dino Digits Quiz in the ruins of Pangea Park. However, players must solve a few smaller puzzles using data from nearby audio and text logs to collect each dinosaur figurine.
The Pangea Figurines are found at various spots all across the Burning Shores region and can be collected at any point. However, Aloy can only complete the Dino Digits Puzzle after finishing For His Amusement, the fourth Burning Shores story quest. During this quest, players unlock the Burning Shores Waterwing mount, which gives them access to Pangea Park.
All Pangea Figurine Locations
To start finding Pangea Figurines, players should head to the spots marked above. At these locations, players will either find a Pangea Figurine or clues and data that lead to a Figurine. However, following these clues isn’t too tricky.
Dimorphodon (Pangea Figurine #1)
This figurine is found at the Fandom Zone shop on the island northwest of Fleet’s End, at the location marked above. Unfortunately, the door is locked, but a nearby data point states that the code is carved in stone on top of a nearby tower.
The tower in question is located to the left of the door. Aloy can shoot down a ladder with her bow and then climb to the top of the tower to find the code: 111464.
Aloy can enter this code to open the shop door and pick up the Dimorphodon Figurine inside.
Green Raptor (Pangea Figurine #2)
This figurine is located east of Fleet’s End at another Fandom Zone shop at the location marked above. Additionally, players will spot the In For It datapoint, which describes how the Pangea Figurine here was stolen by a thief who was tracked to a nearby underground parking lot.
Aloy can find the underground parking lot by following the path toward a nearby Stalker Site. Stalkers are roaming the area that can be fought, avoided, or even overridden if players have managed to complete Horizon Forbidden West’s Cauldron CHI.
Inside the parking lot, players will find several wrecked cars. For example, the Green Raptor Figurine is located in a wrecked car on the bottom level of the parking lot.
Players should watch out once they pick up the figurine, as this will cause hostile machines to spawn inside the ruin.
Red Raptor (Pangea Figurine #3)
This figurine is located in the northeastern part of the Burning Shores, in a half-submerged building opposite a large lava flow. Facing the building, players should spot a ladder that Aloy can climb to the left of the Fandom Zone sign. On the roof, there’s some unstable Firegleam that players can set off with a single shot to create an opening.
Inside, players will find a datapoint underwater that describes how the Pangea Figurine was taken to a mansion northeast of here. Then, Aloy can use one of Horizon Forbidden West’s flying machine mounts to fly straight to the house at the very top of the lava flow.
To get inside, players must use their flying mount’s talons to tear the grate on the roof open. Red Raptor can then be found inside.
Queen Rex (Pangea Figurine #4)
This figurine is located west of Fleet’s End near a Tremortusk Site at the above location. Aloy will mention the crushed Fanghorn in front of the shop, which players can examine to find some clues, including the collapsed wall of the shop. Aloy can use her Pullcaster to pull the iron bars out of the way to clear the debris.
Inside is a Shell Walker crate, which Aloy figures is a clue to the figurine’s location. Using Aloy’s Focus, players can highlight the thieving Shell Walker’s tracks and follow them to a machine site.
This area is protected by Widemaws and Shell Walkers, which players will need to fight. Afterwards, the Pangea Figurine can be found in some crates in the middle of this area.
Reggie The Pterodactyl (Pangea Figurine #5)
The fifth and final Pangea Figurine is located at the Fandom Zone shop in Pangea Park itself. Players can find it at the location marked above.
To get inside the shop, players should head to the right and follow the path around to the back of the shop. There’s a grate here that Aloy can open using her Pullcaster. Next, players should follow the vent to the very end and open the vent to the left. This will lead them to the room where the Reggie the Pterodactyl Figurine is located.
How To Solve The Dino Digits Puzzle
To solve the Dino Digits Puzzle, players should head to the middle of Pangea Park, where they will find an impressive-looking statue surrounded by five terminals. Interacting with one of the terminals will start a trivia contest about Pangea.
The answers to this quiz are actually in the data Aloy recovered from collecting each Pangea Figurine, and players can scour their in-game notebooks for the answers.
For convenience, here are the codes for each terminal, from left to right facing the statue: 6837, 4331, 378, 785, 1051
Completing the quiz will net players some extra Skill Points, a new audio log, and a neat new face paint for Aloy to wear as she explores Horizon Forbidden West’s Burning Shores.
