Fatemakers can now begin the Coiled Captors DLC for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands to face Chums the Old God and spin the Wheel of Fate for Legendary loot.
The Coiled Captors is the first DLC expansion for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, bringing new endgame content into the mix. While there is a short story about freeing Chums the Old God, most of the first expansion focuses on the new Mirrors of Mystery activity. The expansion also adds increases the Chaos Tiers by 15 levels, giving Fatemakers an additional chance to hunt for more powerful endgame loot.
The Coiled Captors DLC also brings a new location to the Wonderlands Overworld called Dreamveil Overlook. This new location serves as a base of operations for the Mirrors of Mystery activity, and it has many endgame amenities that can also be found throughout Brighthoof in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands such as the character customization booth, an enchantment table, and more. Dreamviel Overlook also has the Wheel of Fate, which rewards players with any type of loot in the game in a Wheel of Fortune style minigame. For the price of 25 Lost Souls, players can spin the wheel for a chance to win Legendary loot.
Unfortunately, Dreamveil Overlook isn’t marked on the Overworld map immediately and has to be discovered before it can be Fast Traveled to afterward. The easiest way to find the location’s entrance is to begin traveling from Brighthoof towards the entrance of Snoring Valley. On the way there, stop at the Shrine of Mool Ah in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands to find the Dreamviel Overlook entrance. This can be easy to miss since the location is a small village, instead of a cave or large structure entrance that most of the areas in the game typically feature.
How To Begin The Coiled Captors DLC
After reaching Dreamveil Overlook, speak with Vesper in the center of the small village next to the Wheel of Fate. Following a short conversation, Vesper will give Fatemakers their first 25 Lost Souls by interacting with the Wheel of Fate for an easy reward. Afterward, Vesper will direct players to the Mirror of Mystery activity, where they must complete challenges across five areas to finally reach Chums the Old God.
Once Chums has been defeated, players can face this boss again by restarting the Mirrors of Mystery activity or through the Chaos Chamber In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. To farm Legendary Loot from Chums, the best thing Fatemakers can do is bring a weapon that inflicts self-damage, then down themselves after defeating the Old God. Fatemakers will respawn at the beginning of the arena, then Chums will respawn as well with all of the previous loot still laying on the ground.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
