Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent shares her daughter Ocean’s milestone 1-year birthday. She is surrounded by fellow Vanderpump Rules castmates.
Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent just celebrated her and ex-fiancé Randall Emmett’s daughter Ocean’s 1-year birthday. Lala first shared the happy news that she was pregnant in a September 2020 episode of her podcast Give Them Lala. Soon afterward, she announced that she was having a girl during a big gender reveal party. Ocean was born on March 15, 2021, a day Lala has said changed her life forever. Fans loved watching Lala as a mom on Vanderpump Rules and cheered her on throughout her sobriety journey since 2018.
Lala’s life hit a road bump when she found out that Randall had been cheating on her. Fellow Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney received pictures of Randall with two other women and made the difficult phone call to break the news to Lala. It was soon revealed that Randall didn’t just cheat on Lala that one time, but it had been going on for a while with several different women. Lala, who had been noticing red flags for quite some time, broke things off with Randall, despite him begging her to work things out.
Lala’s main focus is on raising Ocean the best as she can as a single mother. Lala recently paid a tribute to Ocean’s milestone birthday party on her Instagram. She posted photos of her smiling baby with the caption, “Happy first birthday to you, Ocean. This past year has been the best year of my life. You are the most amazing thing to ever happen to me. You are sweet, determined, independent, curious – a bright light in our lives. You are going to do incredible things in this world, baby. I will always be here to catch you when you fall, carry the weight when it gets too heavy, and protect you with all I have. Being your mama is an honor, O. Happy birthday, baby girl.”
According to People, former Vanderpump Rules stars Brittany Cartwright, Jax Taylor, and Stassi Schroeder came to celebrate along with their respective babies. Brittany and Jax share an almost one-year-old boy Cruz while Stassi has a 15-month-old with her husband Beau Clark. Fellow Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay came with her baby Summer Moon, whom she shares with Brock Davies. Lala told People, “Ocean turning one is bittersweet. I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone, but to see these little milestones happening in the past year has been beautiful to watch.”
Lala shared that the most exciting moment for her was watching Ocean smash her cake after everyone sang “Happy birthday.” She added that it was a “birthday party that was full of so much love.” Lala is embracing motherhood and has shared in the past that she definitely wants more kids. However, Lala isn’t relying on a man to help her and in fact, she has said that there’s a big chance she’ll most likely do it on her own. For now, her priority is Ocean and building her Give Them Lala empire.
