Madhappy and Vans have released a customizable sneaker that’s inspired by friendship bracelets. ICYMI: Madhappy is known for its cozy, optimism-inspired athleisure pieces (I live in the brand’s crewneck sweatshirts), and the company’s mission focuses on mental health. For the first time ever, the brand is moving into footwear with this cool collab with Vault by Vans.

The sneaker design has a fun, nostalgic feel because it’s inspired by friendship bracelets you’d make as a kid. The beige sneaker features embroidered stitching in red, blue, and yellow along the seams, as well as the brand’s name, Madhappy, on the tongue. For a pop of color, you’ll notice that the sneaker’s waffle sole comes in a pretty ice-blue hue. You can also wear the sneaker as a slip-on option as the heel folds down.
