Iconic Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee of fashion brand Sabyasachi is collaborating with high-street giant H&M on a collection titled Wanderlust. Set to launch in India, the United Kingdom, and a few select H&M international stores, Wanderlust includes rich handcrafted textiles applied to Western and traditional Indian silhouettes.

“I am happy to announce the new date for the collaboration with H&M, as it gives us the opportunity to spread the Sabyasachi aesthetic to a wider audience in India and worldwide,” the designer and brand CEO said in a press statement. “Due to the complexities of the Covid-19 situation, we had to put the collaboration on hold but I’m eagerly looking forward to launching this ‘ready-to-wear’ collection that will bring relaxed sophistication to everyday life in an understated yet glamorous style.”

Sabyasachi and H&M’s Wanderlust collection features a full wardrobe of womenswear, menswear, and accessories created by the Sabyasachi Art Foundation using Indian textile and print traditions. Stay tuned for the Wanderlust launch on Aug. 12, and look ahead for a preview of the collection.
