It’s definitely no secret the 2021 Tokyo Olympic skateboarders have style. Nike outfitted many of the teams in the competition at Ariake Sports Park, where the event is being included at the games for the first time. Nike designer Donavan Harris brought bursts of color and graphic art to the tees, hats, and shorts on some of these kits, but all the athletes were encouraged to mix and match with their own essentials to show off their own personal flair.
If it wasn’t Brazil’s Rayssa Leal catching our eye with her stack of braided bracelets or Yuto Horigome reminding us that the loafer sneaker is, in fact, a very sleek staple, then it was everyone else who made it out to the park to show off their talent and fashion prowess.
