Moon Knight is the newest Disney+ series to take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and so far it is the first series to not feature any existing MCU characters. Moon Knight is a very different project than anything Marvel Studios has done before, but eventually, the character will likely crossover with other MCU characters.
With the show more than halfway complete, there’s a lot of speculation as to where fans might see Moon Knight/Marc Spector appear next and who he may team up with.
10 Bruce Banner / Hulk
While Hulk is an absolute force to be reckoned with in any fight, it would be more fitting for Moon Knight to team up with Bruce Banner off the battlefield. Banner has found himself outside of his comfort zone on numerous occasions in the Avengers films and Thor: Ragnarok, so having him meet someone like Moon Knight would just be another day for him.
One of Moon Knight’s alter egos, Steven Grant is an intelligent and mild-mannered individual similar to Banner, so having the two of them work together would serve as an interesting and unexpected partnership.
9 Monica Rambeau
Phase 4 of the MCU has been focusing more on newer characters like Monica Rambeau from Captain Marvel and most recently, WandaVision. Monica recently developed superpowers and she is already confirmed to appear in future MCU projects. While Rambeau doesn’t have much in common with Marc Spector specifically, the two teaming up would be interesting from a personality perspective.
Both characters are serious in their own ways and it would be fun to see how Marc’s hardheaded demeanor would contrast with Rambeau’s by-any-means-necessary approach. While Moon Knight won’t appear alongside Rambeau in The Marvels next year, there’s always a possibility moving forward.
Shang-Chi has been one of the best additions to the MCU since Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was released last summer. Shang-Chi has a similar skillset to Moon Knight, as they both are expert martial artists who are capable of fighting a variety of threats.
Moon Knight is a character fans want to see in the Shang-Chi sequel, which is already in development. Given their comic book history together, it would be a great decision to pair them together. Both characters are featured as members of the West Coast Avengers in Marvel Comics and if Marvel Studios chooses to create a version of that team in the future, both of these characters should be included.
Over the years, Thor has become one of the most beloved parts of the MCU and it is always a lot of fun to see him interact with new characters. Marc Spector is the avatar for Khonshu, the Egyptian Moon God, so having him interact with the God of Thunder would be a sight to see. Thor possesses a lot of knowledge of mythology and ancient history which will be explored further in the upcoming film, Thor: Love & Thunder, however, it’s unknown if he’s aware of Khonshu’s existence on Earth.
Thor is much stronger than Moon Knight from what fans have seen so far, but to have these two gods fight alongside one another would certainly be a difficult challenge for any adversary.
6 Nick Fury
While he was the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the MCU, Nick Fury was the one who created the Avengers Initiative in case the Earth ever needed defending and since then he’s remained in the shadows, only coming out when he’s needed. Despite being more in the background of the MCU now, Fury still keeps tabs on everything with help from the Skrulls.
Throughout his career, Fury has forged plenty of powerful allies in the MCU, and Moon Knight would be one of the more interesting ones to add to his network. While Khonshu/Moon Knight has his own problems to handle when Nick Fury comes calling everyone listens, so if they work together in the future, count on Moon Knight being another great ally for the former director.
With Charlie Cox officially back in the MCU as Daredevil, fans want to see the characters appear in future projects more than ever. There are plenty of potential team-ups for Daredevil in the MCU and Moon Knight is a very realistic and potential partnership that would be a devastating match for anyone who stands in their way.
Both characters don’t have traditional superpowers like other MCU superheroes, but their ability to use their physical and mental differences to their advantage is what makes them a great duo on paper. Their fight styles are almost parallel to each other and having them solve street-level crimes together rather than the much larger Avenger-level threats is where a team-up of this caliber would shine the brightest.
4 The Watcher
Now that he’s properly established in the MCU, Moon Knight should be on the shortlist for characters to appear in season 2 of the MCU’s animated anthology series, What If…? After season 1’s conclusion, it should be expected for The Watcher to directly interact with characters from alternate timelines in the multiverse moving forward.
The Watcher would have seen several versions of Moon Knight throughout the multiverse, so it could be a lot of fun to see him work with one of the other versions of Marc Spector just like he did with the Guardians of the Multiverse in season 1. The Watcher only interferes as a last resort, so if he chooses to interact with a version of Moon Knight, it would have to be for a very important reason.
3 Scarlet Witch
Wanda Maximoff is one of the biggest wild card characters in the MCU because there is still so much to learn about her character and her abilities. Going into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wanda possesses a lot more knowledge about the mystical arts and the universe as a whole than the last time fans saw her in Wandavision.
Moon Knight’s origin is linked to Egyptian Gods and their ability to use avatars to be present is something that Wanda could very well be aware of now. Hopefully, there are plans for the two characters to interact with one another at some point, because they both have interesting connections to the magic sides of the MCU.
Spider-Man and Moon Knight would be a team-up for the ages. Between Spider-Man’s acrobatic, web-slinging fighting style and Moon Knight’s more grounded hand-to-hand combat approach, they could be a potentially lethal combo in a fight. Peter Parker having to interact with Moon Knight’s different personalities is an interesting route to pursue, because he could easily work with Steven to solve things, but then with Marc in fights.
At this point in the MCU, Spider-Man has met and fought alongside most of the existing superheroes, so having him fight with someone that he’s teamed up with in the comics would be intriguing. Spider-Man is also the cause of some of the funniest moments in the Moon Knight comics, so hopefully the dynamic will be adapted in some way should the two ever meet in the MCU.
1 Doctor Strange
Similar to Nick Fury, there is very little that gets by Doctor Strange or that he is not aware of. Obsessed with knowledge, Doctor Strange in the MCU has made it his duty to be aware of almost everything that is going on in the world at all times as a master of the mystic arts. It would make sense if Doctor Strange is aware of the existence of Moon Knight and Khonshu more than any other character and it would be thrilling to see how exactly Strange feels about the situation.
Moon Knight isn’t necessarily a threat or someone for Doctor Strange to keep a close eye on, but he is certainly a character that could seek out Strange’s assistance if he needed it. Whether or not he would agree to help Moon Knight is a whole other story, given the amount of responsibility Doctor Strange often holds on his shoulders. While it’s unclear whether or not this is something Marvel Studios wants to explore, there is a lot of potential for a team-up between these two characters.
