As Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s romance continues heating up, the 28-year-old comedian describes himself as a diamond in the trash can.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian may have picked a good price in the trash as her new sweetheart Pete Davidson recently joked about being the diamond in the trash while revealing why he is appealing to women. It’s no secret that Pete has a list of girlfriends filled with some of Hollywood’s most refined ladies. From Carrie David to Ariana Grande to Kate Beckinsale, the 28-year-old comedian certainly has a preference for famous women no matter their age. Another noticeable trait in Pete is that he showers the woman he dates with lots of love and attention.
Lately, Pete has mostly been making tabloid headlines because of his romance with Kim. The Saturday Night Live comedian and the 41-year-old SKIMS founder’s romance started after the spark they shared during her SNL debut in October 2021. Since their first smooch on the NBC hit series, the loving duo has had more romantic moments together. Shortly before Halloween, the lovebirds turned heads after they were photographed holding hands on a roller-coaster ride at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California.
Kim and Pete also visited the theme park with close friends, including Kourtney Kardashian and her fiancé Travis Barker. They also kicked off the New Year with a romantic vacation in the Bahamas. With his romance with Kim heating up, Pete has revealed he knows why women find him appealing. During his stand-up set at the 9th Annual Patrice O’Neal Comedy Benefit Concert at New York City Center on January 18, Pete explained his success with the ladies. Per US Weekly, he said, “There seems to be a curiosity about me, is what my friends tell me.”
In addition, Pete compared himself to the discount DVD bin found in stores like Best Buy, where consumers may find hidden-gem DVDs such as Predator or Tropic Thunder. The comedian likened himself to the Tropic Thunder, which he said was a “classic” that doesn’t belong to the trash. “I’m Tropic Thunder. I’m the diamond in the trash,” he quipped before adding, “It’s a steal.” Pete’s theory came after a source said the 28-year-old comedian and Kim are “really happy together” since their vacation in the Bahamas.
If one is to take Pete’s words seriously, then it looks as though Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum Kim has found in him a diamond in the bin. The KKW Beauty mogul is undoubtedly enjoying her time with Pete, and if one is to follow his words, he knows just why he is good enough for her. Pete has also been enjoying his time with Kim. If the happenings in Kim and Pete’s relationship are anything to go by, then fans should expect more beautiful moments from them. The big question remains if they can go the long haul with each other. Only time will tell what the case will be.
