Selena Gomez knows what makes a good swimsuit. She’s an icon of swim style — has been for many years – and ever since her BFF Theresa Mingus launched her own swimwear brand in 2019, Selena has gotten to take part in the behind-the-scenes creative process, too. Recently, she tried her hand at designing an entire collection for Theresa’s La’Mariette. The collaboration features six new styles, two tops, two bottoms, a one-piece, and a sarong, with a pattern inspired by Selena herself.

Selena and La’Mariette aimed to sum up her personality in its “Aura” design. “The Aura print is inspired by Selena, her aura shines through in everything she does, and we want everyone else to feel that sort of transformative feeling of being their most authentic self,” said co-founder Morgan Brutocao. “Selena’s confidence is unmatched, and being able to design a print with her, which embodies that, is so rewarding.” Shop the collaboration ahead.
