Tauros has received three Paldean forms in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Trainers can catch the new Combat Breed, Blaze Breed, and Aqua Breed.
Tauros is a pocket monster in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that was introduced in Generation I. This bull-like Normal-type was part of the original 151 Pokémon and has appeared in many games since. Tauros makes a unique return in Scarlet and Violet with three different Paldean forms. Those looking to catch these Pokémon will need to check either the east or west side of the region.
The Fighting-/Fire-type Blaze Breed Tauros is exclusive to Pokémon Scarlet, while the Fighting-/Water-type Aqua Breed can only be encountered in Violet. Owners of either version can catch the pure Fighting-type Combat Breed Tauros. Each form shares similarities with the Kantonian Tauros, having either the Intimidate or Anger Point Ability. However, Paldean Tauros can come with the new Hidden Ability, Cud Chew. If the Pokémon eats a Berry, they will eat it once more at the end of the next turn. This Ability can help keep Tauros alive during a tough battle.
Every Tauros Paldean Form Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

As previously mentioned, the Combat Breed Tauros can be encountered in both Scarlet and Violet. Trainers can find the Fighting-type Pokémon all over the East and West Provinces. This form is fairly common and congregates in groups. The Blaze Breed and Aqua Breed can be encountered in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet in roughly the same areas. Both forms are typically found in a herd of the Combat Breed. Trainers will need to inspect the Pokémon to determine the correct monster. The Blaze Breed has red streaks of fur, and its horns will glow a bright red. The Aqua Breed has some blue fur and is most notably identified by its different horn shape.
While the Combat Breed is commonly found in the Paldea region, the two-version exclusive forms are much rarer spawns. Therefore, Trainers should eat a Sandwich that increases the chances of encountering a Fire-type on Scarlet. Likewise, owners of Violet will want to increase the odds of finding Water-type Pokémon. All three forms are incredibly powerful with high base Speed, Defense, and Attack stats. Additionally, Tauros gained the Raging Bull signature move in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This attack has 90 power and 100% accuracy while also changing types depending on the form. Raging Bull is a Normal-type for Kantonian Tauros, Combat Breed is a Fighting-type, Blaze Breed’s is a Fire-type, and Aqua Breed’s is a Water-type.
Tauros is a fantastic pocket monster in Generation IX, and the new forms are a great way to show love to an iconic original Pokémon. While the Blaze Breed and Aqua Breed can be hard to find, they are worth catching. Trainers that wish to enhance their team will want to seek out all three Taurus forms in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
